History of Nanavati Associates began with its founder, Mr. K. S. Nanavati, who, founded in 1977, K. S. Nanavati & Associates, a proprietorship firm. With the practice of his proprietorship firm growing, Mr. K. S. Nanavati decided to have a partnership firm replacing the proprietorship firm and thus, Nanavati Associates came into existence in 1995. Partners and Associates of Nanavati Associates attend to matters listed before the Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat at Ahmedabad and often attend to matters listed before other Hon’ble High Courts and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. In order to provide non-litigation services and litigation services for other Hon’ble Courts and Hon’ble Tribunals formed a separate partnership firm in 2002 and thus, sister concern, K. Nanavati & Gandhi Associates came into existence. Since 2003, Nanavati Associates has been providing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) legal services and networks with firms in US, Europe, China as well as lesser known countries such as Curacao and Cameroon. Nanavati Associates has conducted seminars to increase awareness about IPR. Nanavati Associates has branch offices in Surat and Vadodara.
